Cleaning Adventure with Your Child
As tiresome and miserable cleaning sounds to your ears, I don’t think there is anything more satisfying than getting done with it completely. Because at the end of the day cleaning is as significant as living, isn’t it? Since living in a messy surrounding does not only put you in a bad mood but also makes you hate your life for obvious reasons. One has to do it by hook or by crook so might as well make it a fun task. And by fun I mean gather some help of your children. I’m sure they can make your chores feel light and keep it interesting at the same time. On the other hand, it makes your children learn about team work and cleaning skills.
The following tips can help you get your kids into this task;
• Keep your voice away from the process – When you are loud with your work, almost, hollering, threatening and nagging your kids about the chores, they tend to ignore you and also feel pressured making it less fun. A better way to go about this would be assigning the work written in a paper or sticking it on the refrigerator, giving your kids the liberty to decide from number of chores to be done.
• Keep that beat loud – Here I’m talking about music. You can definitely make the task more fun by playing some amazing music tracks which would make you groove and clean at the same time.
• Rewarding game – I think you owe them that much. After the cleaning is done you can treat your family with a grand pizza lunch or take them for the movie they have been forcing you all along.
And that would certainly set the mood right and make them take the initiative themselves next time when you ask for it.
